Oregon Farmers: Our farm is nestled in the Rogue River Valley along the Applegate Trail and near the site of the historical Fort Vannoy. This fertile valley has some of the best soil on earth. We are surrounded by farmers and dairymen and women who value and work the land.
Living the Good Life: In an effort to find affordable, healthy and sustainably raised food, we started actively reviving the old farmstead and working the land. The house is over eighty years old, along with the healthy walnut trees that grace the land and give it the old fashioned charm. We are able to grow, harvest, and preserve a large portion of the food we eat from our small farm.
Looking Forward: We are looking forward to future generations of farmers. Whether it is instilling a love of animals or a sense of stewardship for the land, we are eager to share what we have learned in our experiences and value the collective knowledge from other farmers.
Giving Back: Oregon's own Valley of the Rogues has inspired generations in sustainable living. Giving back to the land we work, to the people around us, and to live as simply as we can are some of the many lessons we have learned at O'Brien's Family Farm.
